In SBDIS we provide a platform to our students with some Educational and Motivational Interactive sessions with Mr. Jyoti Das, an American based motivationalspeaker. Given the Digitalization growing fast in the world around. Its our first and most important duty to guide our kids with motivation towards achieving the success not in a materialistic way but Spiritual and Educational way. Also with the advanced growth and diversity in cultures around the world, the guidance in terms of values and culture binding is also needed. Hence, in SBDIS we teach our students to be bonded into the roots of our Indian culture and get the best out of it.
Our ISA Coordinator and a set of teachers from SBDIS International School attend a 3 day British Council Core Skills Training session from Feb 5 – 7, 2018. Delegates from eight Schools participated in the Program. Teachers from all subjects including Math, English, SST and the Sciences capitalized on this intense course taking this new knowledge back to their classrooms in their separate schools. The key areas of British Council is to support the Core Skills advancement in the community . The British Council implemented this course in 2015. It is a three years programme that helps teachers identify and implement six core skills including critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and imagination, digital literacy, citizenship, student’s leadership and personal development and collaboration and communication into their teaching routines.

Lively interactive sessions were held in the classrooms, where teachers showed slides in the smart boards. Students actively participated in the discussion. They were told how the activities that were planned would be helpful to them to gain immense knowledge about the tribes of India, South Africa and Korea. They were motivated to think about different ways and methods to work for the development of these tribes.
Students completely engrossed in the activity in different places like inside the dance room and classrooms.
